One day before the big leap into the unknown

It's happening!!! After months of anticipation (and stress), the departure is finally going to become a reality. Things are packed, clothes are prepared and my excitement keeps growing. Despite the wet weather forecast for tomorrow up in the Arctic, I am still sure to be charmed by the lovely city of Tromsø.

For now, I need to make sure that my room is in order (although it is partly shared with my sister... who is not the tidiest person in the world :p) and that nothing is missing from my luggage. I should also tell you what you can expect to find on this blog. I originally created it with the intention of keeping the photos of the trip in one place and sharing them with my family and friends. I'm not too good at writing articles, so I will mainly use the blog feature to gather a few pics each time, which will then be posted on the album page. That way, those who subscribed to the newsletter will be notified each time I post a new article. Right, I think I said it all. It's time to enjoy the last sunrays on my skin... wait I think they have them too in Norway. They call this activity "solveggen" (the wall of sun) and if I understood well, it consists in sitting against some wall, just taking in the sun. It really is this rare then...
